Treating Tendonitis
Muscles become narrow toward the ends where it becomes a thick fibrous cord which attaches to the bone - that is the tendon. A tendon can become injured, inflammed and painful, and even ruptured or torn from the bone, all from a myriad of causes.
Although more severe tendon injuries may require surgery, Dr. Wilson treats quite a number of tendon-related cases with a variety methods including soft-tissue treatments to relieve the tension and pain and most importantly to promote healing.
The primary goal of healing tendons is to reduce the 'itis' (inflammation) and restore the normal muscle strength and function but without simply covering up the symptoms.
Dr. Wilson is an expert in soft tissue care! Get relief that lasts!
